rio claro

rio claro is a small town of about 50 featuring a clear marble river that plays host to many different types of wild live including tucans coral pythons 3 foot alligators tralantulars and scorpions this place is very beautiful.all of the building has been built by the local workers, when a tree falls it is milled bamboo is grown to sheet walls before render ,floors are made of bamboo with concrete on top.this place was very open air with no walls on my room facing the river and the jungle.activities here included rafting ,caving (crawling/swimming through a km marble cave with crazy nocturnal birds going mental when they see the light.)canopying(zip lines over the tops of the jungle)and tubing.this place was near sustainable with fish being farmed upstream. delicious!
